Photography

A hobby I did with my dad became one of my greatest passions. Starting with landscape, turned travel, portraiture, and even film photography, I’m working on expanding my horizons as I strive to bring what I see to life permanently. At JMU, I had the opportunity to take my first real photography classes. If you’d like to use any photos or would like to purchase one for print please contact me!

Travel

Travel photography started out as capturing places I’ve been to remember them. It then became something more. As I experienced the culture of each place, I wanted to try to capture it uniquely in photographs.

Nature

Being outdoors is really one of my favorite things. I live for the sunsets and sunrises I get to see wherever I go and to help ground me when things get too stressful. On my hikes, I began bringing my camera and really appreciating the nature around me. I love macro photography and hope to dive into that even more.

People

As much as I love still life and nature, I have been working more and more to capture people and their unique beauty.

Film Photography

In school, I had the privilege of learning all about film photography, developing film, and printing and I loved it. All of these photos were taken with a 35mm lens with black and white film.
