For my graphic design class, our last project was to pick a magazine and a topic we would like to design. I love travel and nature so I picked hikes at Shenandoah National Park. The requirements was to focus on typography and design graphics for the article. I also wrote my own article for the spread.

Drunk Driving Awareness
Fall 2017
In a graphic design class, we were split into groups and created a poster for some cause we wanted to bring awareness to around campus. One issue we wanted to face was drunk driving. Here is the poster we created and hung up around campus.
Tolls ‘n Spoons

Brainstorming is key in advertising. A fun activity we did in class was creating our own game. Each group received a bag of random objects that we had to combine to make our game. Once we came up with the concept and rules, we individually made our own print ads.
Fabuloso
Spring 2017
This print ad would be part of a larger campaign using Fabuloso’s other products and placing them in nature. We came up with the idea together and worked on it together. I did the background, picture editing, and text. My partner, Emmie, did the softening, lighting, and highlighting of the Fabulous apple and bottle.

For our canned food company, Emmie and I wanted to do something that was also helpful. We chose to add a cutout recipe card to make it easy for parents or college kids to make an inexpensive meal.

My favorite animal is a sea turtle. I love using negative space and thought making a sea turtle would make some interesting shapes.
